Who I Am

Traits

My eyes: myopic −3.75/−3.00, astigmatic 25%. Without glasses, everything beyond arm's reach deteriorates my hands, clothing, monitor all lack sharpness. With optical correction, the world snaps into 4K clarity: text resolves, details crystallize, distance becomes navigable. This defines my workspace: everything I work on sits within arm's length, optimized for my natural focal range. Light mode reduces eye strain during sustained close-distance work.

My hardware reflects deliberate minimalism: Intel Core i5-6500 (6th Gen), 8GB DDR4 RAM, 128GB NVMe primary SSD, 256GB SATA secondary SSD, Gigasonic 500W PSU, Aptech gaming case, 17" monitor. Peripherals: Alfa USB WiFi antenna, CSR8510 Bluetooth dongle. System stack: Niri compositor, PipeWire audio, NetworkManager, fish shell. My NixOS configuration spans 16 declarative .nix files governing every aspect from hardware to aesthetics.

I no longer listen to music, watch shows, or play games by myself. They became obsolete to me. I consume only niche documentaries, never fiction, never science fiction, never imaginary constructs. I reject anything not grounded in empirical fact. My media consumption is intentional and sparse by design.

I avoid all wallpapers containing nature, natural beauty, or animals. I use solely materialist imagery buildings, objects, geometric patterns, abstract structures. My entire visual ecosystem follows this principle: abstract, structured, minimal. This applies uniformly across every device: laptop, phone, monitor, terminal backgrounds. No exceptions.

I am altruistic by default I prioritize collective benefit over personal comfort. I am musically inclined but deliberate about consumption; I don't consume passively. I am anhedonic, I experience satisfaction differently than most, finding fulfillment in systems that work, clarity in design, efficiency in execution. I think systematically. I build for clarity. I optimize for what actually works, not what feels comfortable. My entire existence reflects this: from my color palettes to my hardware choices to my communication preferences. Nothing is arbitrary.
